Come and see our tribute to all servicemen that are MIA/POW's

POW/MIA Table for One

Supplies Needed

1 Table
1 Chair
1 Plate
1 Place Setting
1 White Tablecloth
1 Napkin
1 Miniature MIA Flag
1 Miniature US Flag
1 Rose
1 Yellow Ribbon tied to Vase
1 Slice of Lemon
1 Glass
1 Candle in Holder
The table is set for one, a symbol of one Prisoner, alone against his or her oppressors.
The Tablecloth is white, the symbol of the purity of their intention to respond to their Country’s call to arms.
The Rose reminds us of the Family and Friends of our missing comrades who keep the faith while waiting for their return.
The Yellow Ribbon represents the Yellow Ribbon worn on the lapels of the thousands who demand a proper accounting of our comrades who are not amongst us tonight.
The Slice of Lemon reminds us of their bitter fate.
The Salt sprinkled on the Plate reminds us of the countless fallen tears of families as they wait.
The Glass is inverted; they cannot toast us tonight.
The Chair is empty. They are not here.
The Candle is reminiscent of the light of hope which lives in our hearts to illuminate their way home, away from their captors to the open arms of a grateful Nation.
Let us pray to the Supreme Commander that all our Comrades will soon be back within our ranks. Let us remember and never forget their sacrifices.
May God forever watch over them and protect them and their families!
